September
The September CD was unleashed upon the world yesterday, so it should be showing up in your mailboxes soon!
The List:
1. The White Stripes- Icky Thump Someone described the new White Stripes album, "Icky Thump", as the whitest stripiest album yet. And they may be right...
2. Beirut- Brandenburg Beirut is pretty much powered by a teenager out of Albuquerque and it's awesome! The new album is coming out early October, and it's supposedly more french pop than balkan orchestra.
3. Wolf Parade- Dear Sons and Daughters of Hungry Ghosts Very awesome band out of Montreal.
4. Seeed- Aufstehn German reggae!
5. Interpol- Hands Away
6. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah- The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth
7. Feist- I Feel it All
8. TV On the Radio- I Was a Lover I've heard from several sources that their album 'Return to Cookie Mountain' was the best rock album of 2006.
9. The Raconteurs- Broken Boy Soldier Jack White's side project.
10. Roman Candle- You Don't Belong to This World Local boys!
11. Mogwai- 2 Rights=1 Wrong
12. CocoRosie- By Your Side
13. Jump, Little Children- Pink Lemonade Pink Lemonade is a song the band never officially recorded and only saved for live shows. I somehow managed to download the track though...
14. Wolf Parade- I'll Believe in Anything
15. Final Fantasy- (Repeat) I discovered Final Fantasy when he opened for The Arcade Fire. He's a one man show who plays a violin while making good use of a digital looping device.
16. Destroyer- It's Gonna Take an Airplane
17. The Arcade Fire- (Antichrist Television Blues)
18. Sigur Rós- Heysátan Sigur Rós is my most favoritest band. Even though I can't understand anything they're saying, I still understand everything they're saying.
